Museo is proud to announce our new Google Arts & Culture Story “Tlacuila Visions: A Conversation with the Creators.” The GA&C Story details the making of the artist book Tlacuila Visions with exclusive interviews with the team: Artists Yreina D. Cervántez and Celia Herrera Rodríguez, Publisher and Book Artist Felicia Rice of Moving Parts Press, and Editor and Writer Laura E. Pérez.

Tlacuila Visions Events
In November we had multiple in-person events to celebrate and promote the release of the Tlacuila Visions artist book. We began at UCSC Special Collections to see the exhibit of all three books in the “Califas Legacy series.” The exhibit was followed by an artist talk hosted by the UCSC Mary Porter Sesnon Gallery where Yreina D. Cervántez and Felicia Rice discussed the making of the book.
You can see the Tlacuila Visions display at the UCSC Special Collections on the 2nd floor of the McHenry Library through March.
On November 15th Galería de la Raza hosted an afternoon with the Tlacuila Visions team. The event sold out immediately and we spoke to a full house surrounded by family, friends, and the Bay Area Chicanx community. Laura E. Pérez led the artist talk with the team which was livecast online so those at home could also join in. A delicious lunch was served followed by a vigorous Q&A session.
