A Life of Engagement is the story of an American artist discovering his Mexican cultural heritage. This half-hour film illuminates the life and legacy of Eduardo Carrillo, painter, muralist, beloved teacher, who came of age, artistically and personally, during the heady years of the Chicano movement of the 1970ʼs and went on to create a vibrant body of art works and to inspire and guide thousands of young artists of all ethnicities.
