La Cueva (The Cave)

In this still life we see Eduardo’s worktable in his home in Santa Cruz with his painting pallet sitting atop covered in the very colors used within the painting itself. There is an animated nature to the painting as the drawers are open and askew implying use and movement. Indeed he would have been using this workspace constantly as he created his works. The worktable can be found now in his studio still speckled with oil paint.
